Whether you are playing in the story mode or free play mode, to win you have to do the same thing, which helps Ski reach the end of the songs by playing all your parts of the songs according to the charts.
This means pressing arrow keys when the identical arrow symbols match above BF or another character you might become, doing it until the end to win, without missing too many notes, or you lose.
